I find inspiration in just about everything.From photographs I take, experiences I might have, quotes from movies and songs, other artists—an idea can pop into my head at any moment.I draw from the basic elements of art---particularly color, shape and texture, and I am forever inspired by my faith and the enduring notion of love. What I like to do: My fascination of the moment is embellished mini quilts, abstract portrait quilts and any art for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Professional:When I’m not quilting or painting, I’m teaching.I spend my days being creative and showing others how to express themselves as an art specialist in the public school system. I have done so since 2001.
